11 Oct 2007 Axisbase 1 final released

Interested in Axisbase? START HERE with the free download!

Axisbase is a database server and desktop database tool for Windows. Use it for membership lists, mailing labels, e-commerce, bulk email sending, or a web content management system. More Info

Top reasons to use Axisbase:
  • Multiple people can work in the same database at the same time (even across the internet), while getting all the features of a personal database system like mailing labels and entry forms!
  • You can connect your office database to a web site, and perform live updates to your web site - with little or no web programming. For example, when you update your product availability, your web site instantly reflects the change!
  • It's free, so you can put it on every desktop in your organization!
And, we offer free database hosting, with this extra bonus: You can host your database with us, or move it to an in-house server or another ISP as you wish. (It's your data file, after all, and you shouldn't be locked in to one host.)

1 Mar 2007 How to connect a database to your web site
Without any programming, you can allow website visitors to search through records the way you define, and even post new records. Useful for jobs postings, stock availability, members of organizations, sports events, or any list that you manage. All you need is Axisbase on your desktop (free), a database hosted here at ianford.com (free), and a specially-formatted URL. The search results can include pictures and custom formatting.
